More than a sport

Karate is a path that begins with a bow. Before the first strike, a student learns to stand still, look their partner in the eye and bow. Everything else grows from that simple gesture — attention, self-control and respect.

As a sports club, we want to offer children and adults organised, safe and regular training, and a community where perseverance is learned. Progress in karate is slow and honest: every belt is earned through work.

Structured physical activity develops the body, and training together connects people. That is why the club is a place where generations meet — children, parents and masters who pass their knowledge on.

Dojo values

  1. 01

    Discipline

Regular attendance, punctuality and attention in training. Discipline is not strictness but a habit that helps you reach your goal.

  2. 02

    Respect

For the coach, partner, opponent and the space we train in. The bow at the start and end of every session confirms it.

  3. 03

    Perseverance

The same technique repeated a hundred times. Progress comes to those who continue when it is hard.

  4. 04

    Self-control

Power without control has no value. A karateka learns to measure every movement and calm their emotions.

  5. 05

    Responsibility

For your own progress, your partner's safety and the club's reputation on and off the mat.

  6. 06

    Sportsmanship

Win with modesty, lose with dignity. Fair play matters more than the result.

  7. 07

    Continuous learning

Even a black belt is not the end. In karate, everyone is always a student.

  • Kihon

Fundamentals — stances, strikes, blocks and movement.

  • Kata

Forms that teach rhythm, precision and focus.

  • Kumite

Controlled partner sparring built on respect and timing.

  • Conditioning

Age-appropriate strength, flexibility, coordination and balance.

Why karate?

Karate develops coordination, fitness, concentration, confidence, patience and respect for others. Everyone progresses at their own pace — what matters is that training is regular, safe and well coached.
